Sara & Kurt

In 1986 Theresa and Charlie McDonald opened The Chef's In. Located on Five Nineteen West Front Street. Thirty-five years later.... Theresa's little sister Sara and her husband Kurt are keeping up with the awesome sandwich tradition. We make our rolls fresh baked every morning ensuring that every wonderful sandwich created is scrumptious. "I will not let a sandwich leave my cutting board unless it is perfect!" Sara (Sara The Sandwich Lady).

Excellent sandwiches made to order with only a short wait. I had the turkey and cheddar and Mom had the Reuben. Both were very good and inexpensive. The bun my sandwich was made on was so fresh and fluffy. Just a top notch sandwich made exactly the way I wanted it. Added this place to my regular rotation. They also have a salad bar and homemade soups, drinks, chips.
